Things to know before and after your Waxing, Threading, Tinting, Lashing and Tanning Appointments
Before your waxing & threading appointment
Exfoliate the area upto 24 hrs prior to your appointment
Avoid tweezing and trimming for best results (brows)
Trim the hair to about 1cm for a more comfortable wax (bikini/ brazilian)
After your waxing and threading appointment
Avoid applying heavy makeup for at least 24 hrs after your wax
Avoid swimming for at least 24 hrs after your appointment
Avoid touching the area for at least 24 hrs after your wax
Keep your appointments regular (every 2-4 weeks) for the best result and to maintain your brow shape
Before your tanning appointment
For an even streak free tan, ensure skin is clean, exfoliated and free of an moisturisers.
Shave or wax 24-48 hours prior to your appointment
Wear loose fitted - dark coloured clothing to avoid disturbing the tan after application
After your tanning appointment
Avoid exfoliating and waxing for the duration of your spray tan
Skin may be washed after 2 hours
For a longer lasting darker tan leave solution on skin for up to 6 hours
Use gentle shower products and gently pat skin dry after your shower
Apply moisturiser daily after appointment to increase the life of the tan
Avoid swimming for extended periods
Before your lash appointment
Please arrive with no eye make up on
please remove contact lenses before your appointment
After your lash appointment
Avoid getting them wet for up to 48 hours after application
Do not rub or touch your eyes
Clean with eyelash foam cleanser every 3 days
Brush through your eyelash tips in the morning
Do not use oil based products around or on the eyes
Do not sleep on your face
PLEASE NOTE:
We cannot perform a waxing service if you are on Accutane or Roaccutane or have been off it for less than 6 months, try our custom brow & face threading instead of a wax.
We cannot perform a waxing service if you have had a chemical or lactic peel in less than 4 weeks, or microdermabrasion in less than 1 week prior to your appointment.
Chlorine in the water helps break the tint down, so if you swim in chlorinated water it will lighten the colour considerably.
Anything you do which acts to increase your skins rate of exfoliation, will reduce the life of your tan.
